- What Markets & Time Frames Does The Quants Algorithms Work On?
- All our algorithms are compatible with all international markets, such as equities, indices, currency, futures, crypto, and commodities. They support trading across all timeframes, including 1m, 5m, 30m, 1H, 4H, 1D, and 1W, making it suitable for scalping, swing trading, and investing. However, there is no one-size-fits-all "best timeframe" as it depends on current market conditions and your personal trading style and risk management
- Does The Quants Algorithms Repaint?
- All our algorithms provide reliable chart signals and indicators that do not repaint. Our toolkit includes both fast-moving and slow-moving indicators. Fast-moving indicators respond promptly to price action, while slow-moving indicators appear at the end of the analyzed candle timeframe. By combining these types of indicators, traders can create powerful strategies. Rest assured that all our indicators are non-repainting.
- For the fully automated trading algos, they will paint the bar in the color of the direction it is currently in a live trade. Example, if a buy signal is generated and the algo enters into that trade, it will paint each candle stick green until it exits that trade and then return back to normal coloring of each bar until it enters the next trade. (and vice versa for sell side trade candlesticks being painted red)
- When Is A Signal Confirmed?
- A signal is confirmed only after the candle has closed. In other words, confirmation occurs once the previous candle has finished, and the next candle has begun. This timing ensures that the signal is based on completed price action rather than interim fluctuations.
- Do The Quants Algorithms Automatically Trade?
- All TradingView based algos only function as a visual indicator specifically designed for TradingView.com. It’s crucial to understand that TradingView does not support automated trading. Instead, its primary purpose is to assist traders in visually identifying potential trade setups within the TradingView.com environment. Users are then responsible for manually executing their trades through their respective brokerage accounts.
- Maverick, MVC, Trojan, Pulse, NEO, VRev can be turned on for fully automatic trading, semi automatic trading, or just visual indicators. The choice is yours and based on the parameters that you personally set.Â
- Fully Automatic = You set desired parameters, enable the strategy and it runs completely hands off.
- Semi Automatic = You set desired parameters, enable the strategy, allow it to enter into the trade and you manually exit when you desire.
- Visual Indicator = You set desired parameters, enable the indicator, and you manually enter and exit the trade based on signals that are generated by the algo.
